Rafi
(April 2005-June 2005)

This is a picture of Rafi, done using brush pens (except for yellow, which I used a regular marker).

This is Rafi, acting like an idiot. I drew this one with brush markers, just for fun. Also, the way it's drawn, it seems that Rafi looks cute, especially with her nose ring.

This is a photocopy of the original pencil version -- before it was inked and colored.

This is Rafi in her special Summer clothes, which she wears occasionally during the summer season, when she's not doing anything important, especially on weekends.

The character on her shirt is "Ebichu the Housekeeping Hamster", one of Japan's controversial anime series. Worth a look, if you can get ahold of it. By the way, in that series, Ebichu says "manko" a lot. What does it mean? Watch the anime and find out.

This is Rafi, spending some quiet time under a tree at a local park.

This is Rafi, spending a day at the beach, saying, in French, "Let's go to the beach!".

And in yet another homage to anime, Rafi is wearing a swimsuit with various pictures of shells, similar to the one worn by police scientist Kaken Musume in an episode of the anime series "Miami Guns".

This is Rafi wearing a Japanese kimono. The Japanese words that Rafi is saying is "Konichiwa (good afternoon), ma amie!" (the latter part is French, written in katakana.)

This is the back of Rafi's head. Nothing special, other than showing the least-shown part of her body, and how she does up her hair.

This is Rafi dressed up for Halloween, as a bee.
Her costume was actually based on one designed for a stuffed doll of "Shilvi", a popular children's singer in Quebec (though I don't know if she's a very talented child singer or an equally-talented adult who can sing like a little girl).

(I apologise for the unusual pinkness of Rafi's skin color -- my usual marker worn out and I bought a new one from a different brand. Unfortunately, the store where I was don't let you test the markers first.)

This is Rafi, dressed like a hippie. While she was born way too late for the original hippie generation of the 1960s and early-1970s, she is still supportive of the concept, whenever the time rises. If there's a protest demonstration that she thinks needs her support, she normally attends them, dressed like this. Besides, as I mentioned before, she's the countercultural type.

As for what Rafi's saying -- it's French for "Give peace a chance."

Thiis is the same sketch as above, but just the pencils, before the inking and coloring.

Another thing Rafi likes to do in her spare time is to tend to her flower garden in her backyard. In French, she says, "I like being a gardener... the flowers are so pretty!"

Being a shinto-buddhist, Rafi regularly practises meditation, saying, repeatedly, "I am one with the Earth."

And here's a copy of the pencil version, before inking and coloring.

This is Rafi, in deep despair. She says, "Why me...? Why me!!??"

This is Rafi, introducing herself, though you can call her by her other nickname, "Goudou".
("Goudou" is another French word for "lesbian".)

This is Rafi saying "goodbye".

This is Rafi asking for a kiss (unless you're a man).

Rafi is seen here in her summer clothes. She wears special clothes for summer, as she loves the season.

And this is Rafi "choking" herself on a mouse cord.
